I am Tulsa estate planning attorney, L. Michele Nelson, and I have been helping Oklahoma families with their estate planning and probate needs since 1996. My practice is focused on the planning and administration of estates. My firm also handles related concerns, such as guardianships and elder law and small business planning. I have a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation, and I am uniquely qualified to handle complex business succession and tax planning.

Having spent my entire career focused on estate planning and estate administration and elder law issues, I am prepared to handle a wide range of concerns. I have been appointed by the court to work as a fiduciary in difficult cases, and I have served as chair of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Sections of both the Tulsa County and Oklahoma Bar Associations, as well as having served as chair of the Legislation Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association's Estate Planning Section. I have worked within the Oklahoma Bar Association not only in leading educational seminars, but also in drafting legislation in areas of probate, trust and estate law.
I have lectured for both general and attorney audiences on estate planning and probate matters through the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations. I have also spoken at seminars held by the Alzheimer's Association, to help affected families find practical solutions.
